LIST OF ISSUES
Our Second Amendment is under attack. Gun control isn't about safety, it's about control; but it's about control of you.
The Founding Fathers ratified the Second Amendment for the purpose of preventing a tyrannical government from reigning supreme and controlling the populous. Now, our ability to defend ourselves from government overreach is coming to fruition under the Biden Administration.
Within my first 100 days in office, I will file a bill that prohibits red flag laws and restores the integrity of our constitutional right to bear arms. We must never lose our ability to defend against a tyrannical, dictatorial regime veiled in the cloak of a democratic republic.
Section 230 & Online Censorship
Let's face it: the internet is the modern-era public square. The First Amendment was intended to protect difference of opinions; otherwise, we would not need a law protecting the freedom of speech.
Unfortunately, Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act has been weaponized by Big Tech and censorship of conservative values and information has become so strong, nearly every Republican member of Congress has been censored–not to mention the immeasurable impact Section 230 had on the 2020 Election, the Trump Administration, and every conservative who wishes to share their views on social media.
It's time to take control and restore the free flow of information online. I will draft legislation repealing Section 230, which will include, among other things, significant statutory penalties for any corporation that violates the law, including fines that will deter even the largest Big Tech giants from censoring those with conservative beliefs.
We need identification to get on a plane, buy a beer, rent a car, stay in a hotel, or even enter certain establishments; yet we don't need an ID to vote? This must change.
We saw the impacts of fraudulent voting in the 2020 election, including votes cast from the deceased and an undetermined amount of illegal aliens. Americans vote in American elections; we can no longer allow citizens of foreign nations to interfere in our electoral process or have a say who is elected–that is up to the American people to decide.
Let me be unequivocally clear: there is a difference between legal immigrants and illegal aliens. I oppose the latter.
America is a melting pot and I strongly support all hardworking Americans, regardless of their national origin. I stand with the Legal Immigrants for America, an organization dedicated to helping those who entered the United States and obtained their citizenship, visa, or green cards, legally.
To the contrary, I vehemently oppose illegal immigration and I will always prioritize Americans over those who enter our country by unlawful means and strain Americans by usurping their tax dollars that should otherwise be dedicated to improving the lives of Americans who are suffering. We, as Americans, must unite and oppose open border policies.
Discrimination & Political Ideology
Less than a year ago, the Supreme Court held that members of the LGBTQ community are protected under the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It was not Congress that created this protected class; but rather, it was litigated through the courts and held to be an extension of the class of "sex" which is included in the original legislation.
If members of the LGBTQ are protected against discrimination, so too should members of the Republican Party and those who hold conservative beliefs and values. I will introduce legislation that will provide protections against discrimination based on political beliefs.
Similar to the issues regarding censorship, the First Amendment also provides protections against religious persecution. Our nation was founded on the principle of separation of church and state; yet during the COVID-19 pandemic we saw democratic state leaders abjectly disregard the United States Constitution and impose regulations that prohibited, largely in part, Christians and Jews from being able to practice their religions under the guise of "public safety."
I have read the Constitution and I assure you–there is no COVID-19 exception included. I will draft legislation and protect our nation against government infringement on religion, and further promote Christian-based values throughout the entirety of my time in Congress.
